4/18 -- WORLDS INFORMATION

Diamonds are staying at the AllStar Sports Resort and Rubies are staying at the AllStar Music Resort.
Please make sure to call your team mom upon arrive in Orlando. They will call Bonnie as soon as they have everybody in Orlando or with any transportation issues. If you are flying on Friday and your flight is delayed
1. Arrival at Disney/Pickup Informaiton
-----If you are on a Disney Package, make sure you have completed the Disney Magical Express form below and have everything in place for your transportation from the airport to Disney and then back again on your date of departure.
-----If you are on a Disney Package (meaning that you are staying at the Allstar Resort with the team, you must report to Celebrity Hall upon arrival and get your hotel and package items from the individuals there. At this location you will check-in with both Disney Staff AND USASF staff. (Celebrity Hall closes at 10p on Weds and midnight on Thurs and Fri. If you arrive after this, checkin at the hotel desk and get your room keys and then check-in with USASF in the morning.)
----------If you are a cheerleader or coach on a commuter package, you cannot pick those items up yourself. Bonnie and Flo have to get them when they arrive on Thursday night. They will contact you to make arrangements to meet for you to get the passes. (FYI - not our choice, USASF requirement.)
-----Typically the individual from the TEAM making the arranagements has to pick up the packages for the entire team. However, we have faxed forms in to USASF to release packages to the individuals as they arrive. These forms are located in your mailbox at the gym. You do not necessarily have to have this form to pick up your packages -- however, if they will not release them, this is the ONLY proof we have that we submitted a fax requesting that you could. Also, we do NOT have copies of these -- so do NOT lose the form in your mailbox. They will not release any packages to any individuals unless the ENTIRE team is paid in full and the paperwork is complete. They have confirmed our paperwork is complete. If there is an issue, please have them call Bonnie at 412.260.3798.

----------RUBIES -- because of how quickly your paperwork had to be completed, the forms had to be faxed before we had that information. Therefore, please put this information on your forms in case you need it -- CUSTOMER #:93602800 and INVOICE #:308857
-----Celebrity Hall is located in a large parking lot between where some of the AllStar Resorts come together. There will be signs to this location. Assuming the practice continues as it has in previous years, Celebrity Hall is where an 'athlete's meeting' typically takes place on an ongoing basis. The girls should attend this and get their free gifts -- which are usually bags. We don't have any way to obtain these items should they be lost or if the girls do not attend to get them.
2. TRANSPORTATION TO THE COMPETITION -- unless something has changed, transportation to and from the competition venues originates in the parking lot by Celebrity Hall. All individuals that purchased the Worlds Package are permitted to use this transportation. (How closely they check that has varied from year to year). Traditional Disney transportation does NOT go directly from the AllStar Resorts to the competition venues -- you have to take it to another location and then get another bus there.
3. ADMISSION INTO THE COMPETITION -- If you are on a package (Regular or Commuter) entrance into worlds is included. If you are not on a package, the cost for admission is $25 per day. Using your park hopper pass to get into CHEERLEADING Worlds does NOT count as a day of use regarding entrance into the theme parks. NOTE: The cheerleaders have to have their park hopper passes with them when they go over to compete or they will NOT be admitted into the venue.
4. COMPETITION LOCATION -- The competition is being held at the Disney Wide World of Sports. There are 2 buildings -- the Milkhouse and the Jostens Center. These venues are very close together (across a sidewalk) and entrance into the Wide World of Sports allows you to move freely between the two.
5. WARMUP BOWS -- These are being shipped directly to Bonnie in Florida. If you are arriving Friday, but there is somebody there on Thursday night that you would like us to leave your bow with, please email Bonnie at cheering@comcast.net and let us know. Once she arrives in Florida, she will start contacting people to get them delivered.

4/14 -- RUBIES - please see the post immediately below this one from 4/6. If you are traveling on a Disney Package to Worlds and are planning on using the transportation, please complete the Disney Magical Express Arrangement From and fax/email it to Disney ASAP!!!!!!
RUBIES & DIAMONDS - forms have been faxed to USASF for the parents to pick up the tickets when they arrive at the resort. If you are going on a commuter package, this is NOT an option. Bonnie will pick up all of the commuter package passes on Thursday evening when she arrives. You will then need to meet up with her to get your ticket.
4/6 -- DIAMONDS - we received word back that we will definitely be at an All-Star Resort at Disney. They will let us know which one shortly. Also, anybody travelling on a Disney Travel Package that is using the transportation provided from the airport to Disney and back again needs to complete the below form ASAP and email/fax it in. If you do not do this, you will NOT have transportation to/from the airport.

RAINFOREST CAFÉ DINNER AT WORLDS FOR DIAMONDS AND THEIR FAMILIES

COST PER PERSON: $18.00
INCLUDES: Tip and taxes, family style dinnner cheese pizza, chicken tenders, pasta with sausage, drinks and dessert.

BID Information
Spririt of Hope in Charlotte, NC. Diamonds received a partial paid bid at this competition. That means each cheerleader on the team (36) will receive $347.22 in their account to help pay for their package at the cheerleading worlds. The girls are currently reponsibile for the remaining cost of their chosen package, transportation and the $75/cheerleader coach's fee expense.
ACDA in Ocean City, MD. Rubies received an At-Large bid at this competition.
PACKAGE RULES
All cheerleaders either have to be on a Disney Hotel Worlds Package or a Commuter Package.
Please remember that if purchasing the Disney Hotel Worlds Package everybody in your room must pay for the same package.
Commuter Package Information:
This is JUST for cheerleaders.
It includes their Disney park hopper passes and admission into Worlds. It does NOT include anything else.
3-Day Park Hopper Pass-- $215
4-Day Park Hopper Pass -- $245
5-Day Park Hopper Pass -- $275
Here is the Disney Hotel Worlds Package information for this year:
1. We will be staying at the allstar resorts.
2. EVERY cheerleader must be on a package.
3. No more than 4 people per room.
4. There must be a parent in every room.
5. Every person in the room must be on a package.
All Disney Hotel Worlds Packages include disney passes, hotel room, transportation to/from the airport, entrance into the block party and entrance into the competition.
2 night packages - must be for Friday and Saturday night
2 people in a room -- $449/person
3 people in a room -- $409/person
4 people in a room -- $392/person
3 night packages - any 3 nights (4/22 thru 4/27)
2 people in a room -- $525/person
3 people in a room -- $465/person
4 people in a room -- $435/person
4 night packages - any 4 nights (4/22 thru 4/27)
2 people in a room -- $632/person

If you are on a 5 night package, you can add on additional nights for $135/night/room. You can add on the Wed and Thurs before Worlds and the Monday and Tuesday after Worlds.
