BUSES FOR OUT OF TOWN COMPETITIONS
If you planning on taking a bus to an out of town competition this coming season, you need to read the bus information and follow the instructions. We currently do not have enough people on any of the buses for it to be feasible for them to make the trip. Please get this in by the end of August!! If you have any questions/concerns, please email fcafundraising@yahoo.com.

TUMBLING CLINIC
MONDAY'S 8-9 PM Open to all FCA Cheerleaders!
Dave will be offering the following tumbling clinics!
Please place $10 cash in an envelope with your name on it and which class date and time you will be attending. Clinic space is limited.
YOU MUST HAVE A STANDING BHS AND A RO BHS TO ATTEND.
ALL LEVELS (with BHS AND RO BHS) Monday's 8:00-9:00

NATIONAL JACKETS EMBROIDERED - Drop off at the front desk
All jackets that you win here this year may be embroidered with the FCA logo and your name for just $7.50. Please follow the instructions below:
If you would like to have the FCA logo and your name on your jacket, please place $7.50 in an envelope and attach it to your jacket. Make sure you write the correct spelling of your name on the envelope along with your telephone number in case there are any questions.
All jackets can be left at the FRONT DESK.
All animal hair must be cleaned off jackets or your jacket will be returned it you.
ALSO, please put your initials inside your jacket on the tag. Please do not ask office for supplies, come prepared!
DANCE CAMP DATES FOR CITRINES, RUBIES AND DIAMONDS
Dates for Dance Camp will be September 19-21, 2008. Please mark your calendars!
CHOREOGRAPHY CAMP DATES AND TIMES AND PRICES
The girls can pack a snack for the shorter camp days. There is no guarantee that the girls will get a break to eat something, but pack something just in case.
The girls need to pack a lunch and plenty of water to drink. Please tell the girls to be sure to clean up really good after eating!! There is no set time for lunch, it will be when the choreoghaphers tell them it is lunch time!
What to wear to camp: Black FCA Soffee Shorts, Black FCA Baby Doll Tee--your camp gear is in, please pick up it by Wednesday! Citrines- your hair needs to be fixed competition style. Sapphires- have ALL of your hair up and fixed nice. Wear a competition bow if you have one, if you do not have one, just wear a bow.

LOST AND FOUND ITEMS
For all items that you leave at the gym, please check the lost and found area the next time you come to the gym. Please do not call the gym asking about these items. Please ask about valuable items, they get locked up.

DROPPING STUDENTS OFF/PARKING LOT--Do not stop!!! Drive to the back of the building!!
A safety issue has been brought to my attention AGAIN!!!: People are stopping to drop students off at the entrance (by the sidewalk) which backs cars up on Rt. 228. When you enter the parking lot, please do not stop to drop off your children!!!!! Continue to drive in and loop around to the back parking lot.
ALSO: the parking lot is NOT an ashtray!!! Please do not throw cigarette butts in the parking lot. Ashtrays are provided outside the gym doors!
COACHES' PARKING SPOT
The spots by the handicapped parking are reserved for coaches. Please do not park in these spots. Thanks.
CELEBRATING BIRTHDAYS AT THE GYM
Cheerleaders enjoy celebrating their birthdays at the gym by bringing a snack for their team members. We do not want to take this away from them. But there are rules that must be followed. Absolutely no sprinkles or icing on any treats are permitted in the gym. Please bring treats that do not create a mess. Thanks!
CALLING/EMAIL COACHES ON PERSONAL PHONES
Please do not call or email the coaches regarding anything. You are to call the gym.
SPIRIT ITEMS/USING SEQUIN COLORS
In order to keep our coloring consistent regarding spirit items this year, the correct colors will be posted in the balcony as soon as the uniforms are finalized from the uniform company. ALL spirit items must be approved by the front desk. Just a reminder that no one is permitted to use "FCA" on anything.
EMBROIDERING CLOTHING - It is our policy that no one is permitted to use the FCA name or the FCA logo on any clothing. All items using this name and logo (whether it is screen printed or embroidered) must be purchased through the gym. Airbrushed items may be purchased at competitions using the FCA name. These items must be purchased at competitions.
SHOE POLICY
The following was emailed to me (Flo) from the owners of Tumbl Trak and this is why we have a Shoe Policy at our gym, not only for our Tumbl Trak but the mats as well.....
"Shoes are creeping more and more into the gym. Cheerleaders want to practice with their shoes on and coaches often wear them as they teach. What the cheerleaders and coaches don’t know is that street shoes (shoes that are worn to the gym) may have pieces of gravel, glass, or other foreign objects attached to the bottom. Getting a piece of glass or gravel on the bottom of a shoe can be as easy as walking through the parking lot. At Tumbl Trak we receive calls from gyms whose Tumbl Trak beds are wearing quickly, have rips, or have gotten small holes in them."
Please do not wear outside shoes on our mats. This is not only to keep our equipment in good shape, but also for the protection of all our students. Thank you for not wearing outside shoes on the mats. If you see someone that is breaking our rule, please let me know. Thanks!
