FCA Hair Contract
All
Cheerleaders now have the option of not wearing fake hair at competitions. There is a defined process that must be
followed in order to have this privilege.
Until the process is complete, the fake hair must be worn by the
cheerleader at all competitions.
In order to
earn the privilege of not wearing fake hair, the following steps must be taken
and followed:
1. A signed agreement must exist
between the cheerleader, parent and Coach Jennifer.
2. The signed agreement must indicate
that the cheerleader has presented herself to Coach Jennifer on three (3) separate
occasions with perfect, competition ready hair (with bow) and that Coach
Jennifer has approved the hairstyle on each occasion.
3. A CLEAR PICTURE of the cheerleader with their hair in the
‘competition style’ that was approved by Coach Jennifer must be taken with the
cheerleader to practice when attempting to get their 3rd and final
signoff. This picture will then be
attached to this agreement.
4. This agreement and the picture(s)
must be taken to each competition and produced when asked.
5. A ready to use, color-matched, FCA
style hairpiece in good condition must be carried in the cheerleader’s bag with
this agreement to all competitions.
6. If the cheerleader’s hair grows out
or is cut and can no longer meet the requirements of the approved style, this
agreement becomes void and a new agreement must be created. Until that agreement is created, the
cheerleader must wear fake hair to all competitions.
If at any
competition, the hairstyle is not up to the standards of the style approved in
the photo or is a different style, the cheerleader will be asked to put in
their fake hair immediately and will also lose the privilege of not having to
wear the fake hair.
Individuals who do not comply with
appearing at competition with their hair done to the approved standards will
not get a second chance.
Not all
individuals that appear at practice requesting a signature will receive
one. Only individuals with picture
perfect competition hair will receive approval.
However, individuals not receiving approval will receive feedback from Coach
Jennifer regarding why their hair did not pass and suggestions on how it can be
changed.
This is a
purely OPTIONAL item and any individual can choose to continue to wear fake
hair for all competitions. Additionally,
any individuals that receive approval not to wear hair can choose to wear the
fake hair for any competition.
We are
excited to give this freedom to the cheerleaders, but we also still need to
have each cheerleader looking awesome on the floor!
