Flo - Owner/Coach
Flo Richey is the owner of Flo's Gymnastics, Inc. and has over 20 years of gymnastic instruction/coaching experience. She has taught thousands of children over the years and is very excited about the promising future here at Flo's Gymnastics!
Flo is a Butler High School Graduate, where she participated in gymnastics and cheerleading and was part of the 80-81 and 81-82 WPIAL/PIAA Champion Gymnastic Team. She was also captain of the team in 1982. Flo cheered for Butler County Community College and graduated with a degree in Applied Science. She is USA Gymnastics Safety Cerified, USASF (US Allstar Cheerleading Federation) Safety Certified in Levels 1-5 in Stunting, Tosses and Tumbling, AACCA Certification (American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Adminsistrators), as well as CPR certified.
Flo opened her gymnastics business in March of 1986 with just 30 students. Her business grew quickly and by 1993, she had opened a second facility managing and teaching 775+ students. This business focused on teaching recreation tumbling and recreation cheerleading classes. In 1996, Flo decided to scale back and focus on one location in Natrona Heights. The birth of her daughter, Madison, in 1998 marked a special time in Flo's life.
In 2001, Flo decided to add an all-star cheerleading program to her successful recreational gymnastics program. In just three short years, 2004, the FCA cheerleaders won their first National Title! In February 2005, Flo opened up a beautiful, brand new 9000 square foot facility equipped with two 54 x 42 spring floors, a 40' tumble trampoline and a 30' air trak!
Jennifer - Head Coach
(All Teams)
Jennifer is starting her 8th year as the Head Coach for the FCA Gems All-Star Squads. She led the FCA Elementary Squad to their 1st National Championship in 2004 and the 2005 squads to 11 additional National Championships. In 2006, her teams acquired a total of 16 additional National Championships and a bid to the Cheerleading Worlds in Orlando, FL. In 2007, she coached her Diamond Team to a 9th place finish at the Cheerleading Worlds. In 2008, she lead the Diamonds to a 4th place finish at Worlds and all other teams to many National Championships, including wins at Jamfest Cheer SuperNationals and Cheersport Nationals. Additionally, she coached 2 team to 1st place Jam Madness finishes and 3 other teams to top 5 Jam Madness finishes showing the world what a well-rounded program FCA has!!!!
Jennifer started as a student of Flo’s Gymnastics when she very young. She started cheering for the East Butler Bulldogs when she was 5 and also cheered 7th - 12th grades for her Nationally ranked Butler High School squad. She was Captain of her high school squads every year she was eligible, which was 5 of 6 years. During her senior year, her squad placed 6th in the Nation at the UCA Nationals in Orlando, FL. Her squad was televised on ESPN. She went on to cheer for Liberty University’s Co-Ed Squad her freshman year then she transferred to Clarion University. At Clarion she cheered on their Co-Ed squad and then was Captain of their All-girls squad. Jennifer started Coaching in 10th grade. She coached the East Butler Bulldogs 4 years and has attended and taught numerous cheerleading camps and clinics. Jennifer is a Physical Education graduate of Slippery Rock University. Jennifer is USASF safety certified in Levels 1-5 in Stunting, Tosses and Tumbling along with CPR. She got married in May 2006 and had her first baby, Houston, in May of 2008.

Beth - Coach
(All Teams)
Beth is starting her 7th year as the Assistant Coach for the FCA Gems All-Star Squads. She helped lead the FCA Elementary Squad to their 1st National Championship in 2004 and the 2005 Diamond and Tanzanite teams to 6 additional Nationals Championships. She also assisted the older teams to numerous National Championships in 2006. Additionally, she helped coach the Diamond team to a 9th place finish at the Cheerleading Worlds in 2007 and a 4th place finish in 2008. Beth received her USASF Safety Certification in 2006 for Levels 1-5 in Stunting, Tosses and Tumbling.
Beth attended Flo’s Gymnastics and cheered from elementary through college. She cheered for the Nationally ranked Butler High School squads from 8th grade through 12th. During her 10th grade year, Beth was chosen to represent PA at the Hula Bowl. Her Hula Bowl squad performed at the half-time for the All-Star college football game in Hawaii and also participated in the Hula Bowl parade. Beth graduated from Geneva College where she was Captain of their Co-Ed cheerleading Squad. While in college she taught gymnastics for 2 years at a local gymnastics club. She has attended and taught numerous cheerleading camps and clinics. Beth is a CPA for Maher Duessel, CPAs of Pittsburgh and audits government and not-for-profit agencies. Beth got married in January of 2006 and had her first child, Raegan, in January of 2008.

Marissa
Asst Coach
Marissa is starting her third year at FCA as an Assistant Coach and helped lead many of the teams to National titles. At a young age Marissa attended Flo’s Gymnastics and was also a part of the original FCA All-Star Cheerleading Squad. She participated in high school and All-Star Cheerleading for six years, winning numerous National titles. As a member of the 2006-07 Diamond team, Marissa helped her teammates win their first bid to the Cheerleading Worlds where they placed 13th.
Marissa graduated from Highlands High School in 2006 and is now attending Saint Vincent College majoring in Psychology.
Lisa
Gymnastics Coach
Lisa is in her 8th year as the Gymnastics Coach for the FCA Gems All-Star Squads. Lisa has attended Flo’s Gymnastics since she was 4 years old. Lisa graduated from Knoch High School in 1999 and has been a loyal employee of Flo’s Gymnastics since the age of 16. She has also completed the USA Gymnastics National Safety Certification Program which qualifies her as a Certified Gymnastics Coach. Lisa teaches basic tumbling skills up through advanced skills. Such skill include back and front tucks, back and front layouts, fulls, double fulls, arabians, and speciality passes. Lisa has her safety certification through USA Gymnastics as well as her CPR certification.
Dave
Gymnastics Coach
Dave started coaching at FCA during the 2007-08 season. Dave started coaching in 1999 at Diamond Gymnastics in East Hanover, NJ. While coaching, he worked his way through the ranks to coaching up to level 10. While coaching gymnastics, he was offered a job as an instructor for NCA. At the end of the summer, he was rewarded with a Top Rookie Instructor honor. In September of 2001, he was invited to work on the World Cup coaching staff. He coached for the 2001-2002 season at World Cup in Freehold where he was awarded the top rookie coaching award. In 2002-2003 he split his time between World Cup Freehold, and Head Tumbling Coaching at World Cup Too in Hamilton NJ. In 2003-2004 season, he worked full time at the World Cup Freehold Gym. At the end of the 2004, season he moved to Tampa, Fl and started Cheer Tampa All Stars where he spent three years building Cheer Tampa into the top cheer gym in the Tampa area. He and his wife moved back north to be by their families and had a baby girl in April of 2007.
